Delete your LittleFinds account
This page is for the LittleFinds app. You can request that your account and the personal data linked to it are deleted in either of these ways:
- In the LittleFinds app, open the Profile tab, then Settings, then Delete account.
- Email hello@littlefinds.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request before deleting.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we remove or unlink personal data associated with it where the product supports that:
- Account profile (sign-in identity, display name, and profile photo)
- Reviews, saves, planned routes, Likes, activity inbox, and notification preferences
- Discovery preferences
- The on-device planned-routes cache for that account
- Review photos, from file storage where technically possible
- Push notification tokens
- LittleFinds Premium status tied to the account
What we keep
- Places you added may remain as public community listings without your name attached.
- Place photos you added as the place owner may remain as community listings without your name, unless you removed them earlier through Edit Place.
- Reports already under founder review may remain.
- Records we must keep by law, or under a legal hold, court order, law enforcement request, or ongoing investigation.
How long we keep data
Account profile, reviews, saves, planned routes, profile photos, and review photos are kept while your account is active and removed on account deletion where the product supports that. Public place listings and owner place photos may remain as anonymised community content indefinitely. Moderation records are kept for as long as needed to handle the report, and longer if the law requires it. Application backups may retain any of the above for up to 30 additional days.
